Her swimwear line, which she founded in 2011, offers moderate to full coverage, while still remaining fashionable and sexy. The brand focuses on solid colorways, and creates texture and interest by using techniques such as color blocking.
Her most popular style is the Night Cap, particularly in sizes medium and large. "This style is excellent because it also works as a bodysuit," explained Huff. "For 2016, we are introducing an updated version which will have racing stripes and be offered in two colorways."
And for those who like American-made products, Huff's swimwear is100 percent New York-sourced and created. "From our trims sourced in the garment district, to our fabrics milled in the Northeast, we keep everything close to home," she said. "In addition, we're working toward becoming zero waste by re-purposing our scraps to make our versatile triangle bikinis."
The White Plains resident whose immigrant grandmothers taught her how to sew starting at age 13, worked as a production manager at Norma Kamali, among other design posts, where she said she honed her swimwear knowledge.
New to her line is workout wear, in particular active leggings and yoga pants, which can be paired with long tees to transition to the rest of a woman's day. Again, stressed Huff, it's all about creating clothes that work seamlessly with a woman's wardrobe.
