Charles L. Brieant Center Hosts Youth Conference In Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y.. – The Charles L. Brieant Center will host a youth conference at St. Mark's Parish Hall in Mount Kisco on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Students will listen to those who have been incarcerated and be asked about their opinions on how best to reduce juvenile crime and gun violence.

The conference, set to run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., is for students from eighth to twelfth grade.

Speakers will include Dennis Parker, the ACLU's Racial Justice Program director; Michael Borrell, assistant Westchester district attorney and Joaquim Brito of the Westchester Police Department.

Students are free to attend, and there will be barbecue for lunch, along with a gift bag from TD Bank.
