Community Volunteer Ferguson To Co-Host NWH Session On Anxiety In Children

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Amy Ferguson, a Westchester volunteer, will be co-hosting Northern Westchester Hospital community education session, "Developmental Anxiety and the Middle School Child," on Wednesday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m in Northern Westchester Hospital's Conference Center.

This discussion, part of the hospital’s ongoing speaker series, will focus on ways to help children overcome anxiety and instill confidence.

Expert speakers will include Dr. Alexander Lerman, child and adolescent psychiatrist at Northern Westchester Hospital and Susan Raskin, manager of integrative medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital. 

Ferguson is on the Board of Directors for Westchester Land Trust, as well as the board for the Mount Kisco Elementary School Parent Association.  She actively volunteers for and supports both organizations as well as several others in the community.

"Northern Westchester Hospital is such a valuable community asset," said Ferguson.

Ferguson lives in Mount Kisco with her husband and three children.
