Police investigators on Long Island are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a wanted suspect who smiled for the camera while vandalizing an area park.

An alert was issued by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers as they attempt to track down a suspect who allegedly damaged property at Roberto Clemente Park on Broadway Avenue in Brentwood last month.

According to police, the suspect painted graffiti on multiple cameras and building walls, causing “a significant amount of damage” at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 14.

The incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect has been asked to contact Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section investigators by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online.
