The GoFundMe, started by Bri Silva, said Angel suffered severe head trauma and was considered brain dead.

"Angel currently remains on life support so his body can provide life to others through organ donation," she said.

The family is currently going through the process of saying goodbye to Angel before he comes off life support, Silva said.

"They could use any help to ease the burden of medical bills and funeral arrangements. If you are able, please help by contributing any monetary amount, big or small. Anything would genuinely be appreciated," she added.

As of Friday, Aug. 26, the fund has raised $12,600 of a $20,000 goal.

No word yet on whether Dickson will be additionally charged.
