The showcase of art created with paper in various mediums, such as collage, sculpture, paper installation and works on paper by some of the most creative artists in the region will excite visitors to the gallery at 27 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Each exhibiting artist incorporates a different variety of materials and mediums in their work on paper, which makes this exhibition one of the most visually provocative and engaging in the region, said gallery officials.

In addition to the exhibition, the gallery will have an "Ask the Artist Talk," from 5-7 p.m. Saturday so guests can gain a better understanding of the process, techniques and mediums used and the inspiration behind the works.

During the talk, visitors will have the opportunity to learn the difference between techniques like intaglio printing, monotypes, collage and encaustic paintings, and ask the artists what inspires them, how they create their works and why they choose certain colors, textures and mediums.

Among the artists on hand to discuss their work will be printmakers Karen Vogel, Roxanne Faber Savage, and Liz Dexheimer, collage artists Geoffrey Stein and Margaret Noel and paper weaver Constance Old.
