The event, which is sponsored by Friends of the Library, is scheduled for Monday, April 4 at 11:15 a.m. It is meant for children ranging from 18 months to 5 years old.
The gathering will explore why it rains; there will be a reading of the book, "Bringing The Rain To Kapita Plain" by Verna Aardema.
Two activities are set to following the reading. One, according to the library, involves making an "Interactive model" with shaving cream, water and food dye. The other involves making a "Wind detector" with paper, a wooden stick and string.
