Mount Kisco Store Displays Historic Karastan Rug

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Westchester House and Home is hosting a viewing of a historic Karastan Wonder Rug, a piece of history from Chicago's 1933 World Fair, on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1-5 p.m.

Karastan rugs played a major role in people using comfort in their homes. The event will feature the full story of the Karastan Wonder Rugs and how they affected people in the early 1900s.

Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.
