MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – The Copland House at Merestead will this weekend honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of renowned composer Irving Fine.
Fine, one of Aaron Copland’s most famed protégés, who died in 1962, will be honored at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16.
The “In Grateful Rejoicing: Irving Fine at 100” program will be performed by the Music from Copland House ensemble with guest mezzo-soprano Eve Gigliotti of New York City.
