This 1966 movie was directed by Francois Truffaut, and starred Oskar Werner and Julie Christie. Bob Bloom, the Journal and Courier, considered this movie to be “[a] keen adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel by Truffaut; eerie in its simplicity and matter-of-factness about book burning and Big Brotherism.” Sci-Fi fans, and people new to the science fiction genre, can gather at the dinner and discuss the author. This event will launch the new Sci-Fi Book Club at the Katonah Village Library. Anyone who wishes to participate in the potluck dinner, please contact call 914-232-3508 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
