Kyle Navin is charged with killing Jeffrey Navin, 56, the president of J & J Refuse in Easton and his wife, Jeanette Navin, 55, on Aug. 4 in his father's pick-up truck.

The couple's bodies were found after an extensive search on Oct. 29, buried beneath a pile of debris in Weston, said the Connecticut Post.

Valiante, who is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and hindering prosecution, is accused of helping her drug-addicted boyfriend plan the murder of his parents because he was being disinherited by them because of his drug use, added the Connecticut Post.

The warrant affidavit revealed text messages between the two accused planning the murder, in addition to detailing how officers found two bullet holes in the front passenger seat, and seatbelt of Kyle Navin’s pickup truck, and the mother's blood on the seat, said the Connecticut Post.

Valiante maintains that she did nothing wrong.
