The 5K walk will be at White Plains High School, rain or shine. The Hudson Valley chapter is hoping to raise $267,000 to go toward Alzheimer's research.

All money raised will go to the Alzheimer's Association to further its mission "to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all those affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health," according to the organization's website.
