More than 400 people throughout Westchester attended to help raise money for The Lustgarten Foundation's mission to advance research related to the diagnosis, treatment, and cure for pancreatic cancer. Event co-chairs, Hope Wolfe and Jessica Newshel, worked with a committee of 12 local families to create the fundraiser. The event was catered in part by Restaurant North and entertainment was provided by Total Entertainment. The event was held at Grand Prix New York, well known for its go-kart racing, bowling, and arcade games.
"We couldn't be more pleased with the success of ‘Race 4 A Cure.' The Westchester community clearly embraced our desire to support pancreatic cancer research and The Lustgarten Foundation’s mission. We look forward to next year's event," said Wolfe.
