Gun and Knife Disarming Seminar: 3:30 p.m. Marti Martial Arts Academy will be offering a hands-on workshop on how to disarm an attacker who has a gun or knife. A Visit from Author Curtis Jobling: 2 p.m. British illustrator Curtis Jobling, designer of the hit children's television show "Bob the Builder," and author/illustrator of numerous children's books, including the acclaimed "Frankenstein's Cat," will pay a visit to Little Joe's this weekend. Jobling will discuss his middle grade "Wereworld" series, in which the latest book is "Nest of Serpents" out this month. This author talk is ideal for fourth- to seventh-graders.
