Art Exhibit: "Quirky Dystopia" Drawings by Eli Wald: Held all day in the Mount Kisco Library, 100 East Main Street.

Game Club: 3 p.m. Middle and high school students are welcome to play board games. North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

Lecture: Screenwriter Mark Bomback: 7:30 p.m. Screenwriting and Mark's film Unstoppable, starring Denzel Washington, will be the subject of the talk. A short clip of the film will be shown. Mark is also the screenwriter for Live free or Die Hard, Race to Witch Mountain and Total Recoil. Free and open to the public. Chappaqua Public Library, 195 South Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua.

Meet The Author: 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ilaria Dagnini Brey will present her book, “The Venus Fixers,” in the Mount Kisco Public Library. 100 East Main Street.

Learn Tai Chi in 2013: 10:30 a.m. Make tai chi your new hobby in 2013 at the North Castle Public Library with certified Feldenkrais movement and tai chi instructor Lawrence Attile. 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

 

Chappaqua Farmers Market Outdoor Season: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The Chappaqua Farmers Market will welcome shoppers for their third season with new offerings.  The market's spring/summer season will now take place outdoors at the Chappaqua train station.

 

Sunday, May 19

 

New Castle 10K Road Race: 8:10 a.m. Sponsored by New Castle Physical Therapy and Personal Training, the 26th annual New Castle 10K Road Race is slated to begin outside of Town Hall. If you did not already register, it costs $25 to do so on the day of the race. 200 South Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua.

Tails to Trails: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce will hold Millwood’s first annual “Tails to Trails” this Sunday in the parking lot of the Millwood Animal Hospital. The event is a combination of a pet fair and a walk along the North County Trailway. The fair will include free hot dogs, water and a raffle with items such as an iPod, pet exams and Frontline products.

 

North Castle Library Sunday Music Sessions: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come listen to the “Whiskey Heart.” Whiskey Heart have been featured artists on Radio 107.1. The Peaks New Music Wednesdays, featuring their country flavored new single, "It's Not Wrong." 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

 

Carriage Barn Education and Visitor Center Grand Opening: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to "Discovery Sunday," an open house event celebrating the opening of the Education and Visitor Center in the newly restored Carriage Barn at the site.   The new Visitor Center will be open, featuring state-of-the art computer stations with interactive educational components, computerized interactive displays, a viewing area for a video about John Jay and the site, children's discovery boxes and a gift shop. 400 Jay Street, Katonah.
