Monday, Feb. 25

Village Board of Trustees meeting: 7:30 p.m. Village Hall, 104 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Zumba with JB : 7:30 p.m. Burn up to 800 calories an hour while doing Zumba with instructor Jen Berger. Fitness craze Zumba combines international rhythms and basic fitness steps. Cost is $10 per hour-long class. The Edge of Dance, 272 N. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

Mount Kisco Elementary School Kindergarten Registration: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Begins Tuesday and lasts daily until Friday in the school's central office. Mount Kisco Elementary School, 47 W. Hyatt Ave., Mount Kisco.

The Mount Kisco planning board meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. has been canceled and combined with the planning board meeting scheduled for March 12.

Fox Lane High School: Studio Arts/Studio Crafts Exhibit: 6:30 p.m. Fox Lane High School Broadway/Gallery, 632 S. Bedford Road, Bedford.

Village Finance Committee meeting : 7 p.m. Village Hall, 104 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Mount Kisco Elementary School Kindergarten Registration : 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ends Friday. Mount Kisco Elementary School, 47 W. Hyatt Ave., Mount Kisco.

Mount Kisco Rotary Club weekly meeting: Noon. Holiday Inn, 1 Holiday Inn Drive, Mount Kisco.

Board of Education meeting: 7 p.m. The board will continue to discuss the capital plan. Fox Lane Middle School Little Theater, 632 S. Bedford Road, Bedford.

"American to the Backbone: Story of James Pennington": 7 p.m. "American to the Backbone: Story of James Pennington" tells the tale of James Pennington, a leader of the antebellum abolitionist movement in 19th century New York. Author Christopher Webber, a graduate of Princeton University and Connecticut resident, will give a reading of his book at the Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St.
