Friday, Nov. 9

Zumba With Rachel: 10:45 a.m. Fitness instructor Rachel Borne has been dancing all her life, and her love for Latin music and dance is a highlight of her Zumba classes. Get information on the class schedule at Borne's Zumba site or visit her website for contact information. Cost is $10 to drop in, or get a 10-class pass for $135. Fall Into Books!: 4 p.m. Book club for third- to fifth-grade girls. High school senior Jessica Sheptin will lead a fun group featuring a book discussion, crafts and snacks. The first book to be discussed will be "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl. Mount Kisco Village Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Bird Banding: 9 a.m. Kids can see wild songbirds up close as they help safely capture, band and release birds. Suggested donation is $5 per person. Westmoreland Sanctuary, 260 Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco.

Mount Kisco Lions Club Indoor Crafts Fair and Tag Sale: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the fair is free. Mount Kisco American Legion, 1 Legion Way, Mount Kisco.

Sunday, Nov. 11

USTA Eastern College Showcase Day: 9 a.m. Local high school junior and senior tennis players will get a chance to show their skills on the court and hear from speakers about the college recruiting process and how they can play tennis at the collegiate level. Saw Mill Club, 77 Kensico Drive, Mount Kisco.

Daddy & Me Bagels and Blocks Program: 9 a.m. Dads and children ages 2 to 5 are invited for a free hour of fun. This first session will feature Happy Feet soccer coaches. Somersaults for Sandy: 1 p.m. A benefit for hurricane victims. Join the instructors at Jodi's Gym for a gymnastics fundraiser to help provide disaster relief to families affected by Hurricane Sandy. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross. From 1 to 1:50 p.m., children from 1 to 4 years old may play (adult participation). Then from 2 to 2:50 p.m., children 4 to 7 years old are allowed on the equipment (adult must be present). The minimum donation to take part is $25 per child.
