What To Do In Mount Kisco This Weekend

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Mount Kisco Elementary School's annual pasta dinner, a bake sale and a Purim comedy show are among the events happening in Mount Kisco this weekend.

Friday, March 1

St. Francis AME Bake Sale : Noon. Purchase homemade desserts and pies. St. Francis AME Zion Church, 3 Hillside Ave., Mount Kisco.

Mount Kisco Elementary School's Annual Pasta Dinner: 6 p.m. Enjoy a pasta dinner served by the school's fifth-graders and enter a raffle for a chance to win prizes. The dinner benefits student field trips and includes pasta, meatballs, salad, beverages and dessert. Tickets are $8. Children ages 3 and under get in free. Mount Kisco Elementary School, 47 W. Hyatt Ave., Mount Kisco.

Performance by SugaRush : 9:30 p.m. MTK Tavern hosts SugaRush, a high-energy party band delivering danceable tunes from current hits to the classics and everything in between. MTK Tavern, 30 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Saturday, March 2

Bet Torah's 21st Purimspiel: 7:30 p.m. Bet Torah celebrates 21 years of Purimspiels with the comedic play “Essie’s Fables.” This year’s show intertwines fairy tales with the characters and song parodies of the Broadway show "Annie." The event includes “Meal with a Spiel,” a Passover wine tasting, gourmet dinner and desserts, sponsored by the Bet Torah Men’s Club. Tickets are $21 in advance, $30 at the door. Bet Torah, 60 Smith Ave., Mount Kisco.

Sunday, March 3

Purimspiel Free Family Show : 9:45 a.m. The show will be followed by a Purim Carnival. Bet Torah, 60 Smith Ave., Mount Kisco.

"Art Within Nature" Photography Show: 11 a.m. Check out this solo photography show by Westchester resident Robert Uricchio. A total of 30 to 40 photos, many of which were taken in the Hudson Valley area, are on display in the library's art gallery. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.
