What To Do In The Bedford/Mount Kisco Area This Weekend

BEDFORD, N.Y. – A winter-break gymnastics camp, a classic storybook time and a Zumba class with Rachel Borne are some of the events happening in the Bedford/Mount Kisco area this weekend.

Friday, Dec. 28

Last Day of Jodi's Gym Winter Break Camp: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring the kids to Jodi's Gym this winter break for gymnastics, active games, a bouncy castle, snacks, crafts and musical fun. Cost is $55 per child per day for current members and $65 per child per day for non-members. Children must be three years old by Nov. 1, 2012 and toilet trained. Puppy Playgroups: 10 a.m. Dog owners can take their puppy to "Canine Kindergarten" for an hour-long puppy socialization session. This trainer-moderated session lets puppies play and socialize with each other and humans. This group is for puppies less than six months old. $15 to participate. Zumba with Rachel! 10:30 a.m. Need a strategy to combat holiday weight gain? Come join the party and get yourself moving to great music and fun, easy-to-follow dance moves. Sunday, Dec. 30

Katonah Museum Shows Blue Sky Studio's Digital Animation: 12 to 5 p.m. Katonah Museum of Art's exhibit, "Ice Age to The Digital Age" takes a behind-the-scenes look at digital animation by the artists of Blue Sky Studios, creators of blockbuster films, such as "Robots," "Ice Age" and "Rio." Adult Ice Skating: 9:30 a.m. At Hickory Hill Figure Skating Club's sessions for adults, improve your basic skating techniques and learn the fundamentals of ice dancing. Nine weeks are $325 for two hours or $180 for one hour of skating every Sunday. Half-hour group classes are $10, and private lessons are available as well. Cost of admission for one session is $18.
