What's Happening Around Mount Kisco This Weekend

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A music class with Robert the Guitar Guy, a firefighters' parade and a special Sunday village festival are among the events happening around Mount Kisco this weekend.

Friday, July 13

Robert the Guitar Guy: 1 p.m. Preschool-age children are invited to this fun, interactive music class at the library. For more information, go to www.movingtothebeat.net. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Mount Kisco Fire Department Parade: 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Come out to support the Mount Kisco Fire Department and the Fife and Drum Corps and other area fire departments and emergency services personnel. The parade begins at Moore Avenue and continues on Main Street, turning left at South Moger Avenue and ending at Green Street. The reviewing stand will sit across from Village Hall adjacent to the Mutual Engine and Hose Company.

Saturday, July 14

Dance Class With Gina Bergamini: 10:30 a.m. Children from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate in this dance class at the library. Registration is required. Call 914-864-0130. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Sunday, July 15

Friends of Westmoreland Picnic: 4 p.m. Friends of Westmoreland and their families are invited to join the staff and members of the board of directors for a special afternoon. Westmoreland Sanctuary, 265 Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco.

Kisco Summer Sunday: 5 p.m. Join the rest of the community for the first-ever Kisco Summer Sunday, a free event featuring live music, a la carte eats and fun for the kids. Grab your family, friends, and a picnic blanket or chairs and congregate on the lawn behind Village Hall and the library.
