Monday, Aug. 27

First Day of the Mount Kisco Maroons Cheerleading Program: 4:30-6:30 p.m. Cheerleading pre-season camp will take place every day this week through Aug. 31. Practices will be at Leonard Park at the clubhouse next to the Memorial Pool. Once school begins, practices will be two days a week and games will be Sunday mornings. Bring a registration form to practice. Registration fee is $80. Leonard Park, Mount Kisco.

"Ground Glass" Photography Exhibit: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This week is the public's last chance to check out the "Ground Glass" group exhibition before it is gone at the end of the month. Ground Glass is an independent association dedicated to promoting the practice and appreciation of fine photography in Westchester. The theme of this exhibit is "Nighttime." Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Planning Board meeting: 7:30 p.m. Village Hall, 104 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

Board of Education meeting: The board will meet to discuss back-to-school matters and various issues pertaining to the upcoming school year. The meeting time is to be determined. Central Office, Fox Lane Campus, 632 S. Bedford Road, Bedford.

Join WHUD's Kacey for "Midnight Madness:" 9 a.m. to midnight. Mount Kisco Honda's Midnight Madness Sale features special pricing on pre-owned Hondas combined with the Honda National Clearance Sale. DJ Kacey will be there from 4-6 p.m. and is bringing the prize wheel so come for a chance to spin and win. Mount Kisco Honda, 650 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills. 

Free Band Concert: 6:30-9:30 p.m. The Moses Taylor American Legion will have a free band concert at the legion site with music by the Bensen-Scott Big Band. For more information, call (914) 241-0136. American Legion, 1 Legion Way. Mount Kisco.

Thursday, Aug. 30

MTK Comedy Night: 9 p.m. MTK is bringing in some of the best local talent in the tri-state area for the tavern's new ribald and raucous comedy night. Tickets are $15 per person. MTK Tavern, 30 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.
