Woody Guthrie Music and Movement Class with the Guthrie Family: 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. Members of the Guthrie family will celebrate the famed American folk singer's music with a special Music and Movement class for preschool children and their families, to be followed by a short video screening. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 Main St., Mount Kisco.
Saturday, July 7
Bird-Banding Demonstration: 7 a.m. Kids can see wild songbirds up close as they help safely capture, band and release birds during the program. Suggested donation is $5 per person. Westmoreland Sanctuary, 260 Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco.
Mount Kisco Farmer's Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The market is held year-round at the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester in association with John Boy's Farm and Slow Food Metro North. Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester, 351 Main St., Mount Kisco.

Butterfly and Dragonfly Survey: 9 a.m. Butterfly and dragonfly enthusiasts are encouraged to assist the staff in identifying and recording various species of these insects during the sanctuary's first-ever survey. Westmoreland Sanctuary, 260 Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco.
Art Show: Local Artist Allison Ciampi: 1 p.m. Irrelevant Elephant Art Studio in Mount Kisco will present a reception for "2012 Dots," a new body of work by local painter Allison Ciampi. Refreshments and music will accompany the reception. Admission is free. Irrelevant Elephant Art Studio, 293 Lexington Ave., Mount Kisco.
