The United Way of Westchester and Putnam will hold its third annual Top Chefs of Northern Westchester on Tuesday, June 14 at the Mount Kisco Country Club.
The event will feature tastings of signature dishes and fine wines from around the region.
All proceeds go to the United Way’s “Teach Me to Fish…Work Skills for Life” initiative.
“Teach Me to Fish…Work Skills for Life” is designed to help people who have been unemployed for a long time, individuals with disabilities, and youth, find jobs. They offer financial education, job placement, workforce readiness programs and employment follow-up to its participants.
“Our Top Chefs fundraiser is a culinary evening to remember, showcasing the most accomplished chefs,” said Naomi Adler, president and chief executive officer of the United Way of Westchester and Putnam in a press release. “The enthusiastic feedback we received from last year’s nearly sold-out event was truly overwhelming. Join us once again to help make Northern Westchester a better place to live and work by supporting the three most fundamental building blocks of our community -- education, income, and health.”
Attendees will enjoy dishes from all over Westchester County, including 42 Restaurant of White Plains; Bellizi of Mount Kisco; Benjamin Steakhouse of White Plains; Café of Love of Mount Kisco; Crabtree’s Kittle House of Chappaqua; Happiness Is… of Greenwich; Le Chateau of South Salem; Lexington Square Café of Mount Kisco; Mount Kisco Seafood of Mount Kisco; Myong Gourmet of Mount Kisco; and Travelers Rest of Ossining. Their delicious offerings will be paired with fine wines from around the world provided by Chappaqua’s Hilltop Wines & Spirits and Pleasantville’s Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
