Fox Center's Liz Dieter Serves As Panelist For Senior Aging Event

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Northern Westchester Geriatric Committee presents "Aging in the Community: The Indispensible Transportation Resources of Northern Westchester" on Wednesday, March 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Northern Westchester Hospital, Chappaqua Crossing.

Catherine Wynkoop, of Westfair Rides, an advocate for the transportation needs of both seniors and care providers in Northern Westchester, will present an overview of “Mobility Management.”

Representatives of Ride Connect, Paratransit,  and local senior centers will explain the many transportation resources available. Additionally, participants can discuss concerns and/or ideas for bringing people and services together. 

In addition to Wynkoop, panel members include Evan Latainer, Westchester County Office for the Disabled, Paratransit; Karen Ganis, RideConnect Westchester, program of Family Services of Westchester; Pam Veith, Senior Adult Program, Town of Lewisboro; Louise Paolicelli, Senior Adult Program/Neighbor to Neighbor, Town of Pound Ridge; Dawn Mahoney, Office of the Aging, Town of Cortlandt; Mary DeSilva, Yorktown Senior Center; Liz Dieter, Fox Center, Mount Kisco; Joni Ehrlich, Clinton Center, Village of Pleasantville; 

The program is free for Northern Westchester Geriatric Committee members and $5 for non-members.
