The homemade gravy, cranberry-orange relish and stuffing (vegetable nut and European-style meat) consistently win rave reviews at Chappaqua Village Market, where folks are cooking all day every day to make sure there's always items on the shelves, even for those who don't order ahead. "We'll have products right up until Thanksgiving," said  Randy Leroy, the owner's son-in-law and one of the cooks. He guestimates the store sells from 800 to 1,000 turkeys a season. And don't forget the pies: Among the offerings are bourbon chocolate pecan pie, cognac pumpkin cheesecake and coconut custard.
