New York Times Rates Mount Kisco's 251 Lex 'Very Good'

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- 251 Lex, a new restaurant on the edge of downtown Mount Kisco, won accolades from a New York Times food reviewer recently for its simple yet sophisticated Mediterranean menu.

The reviewer gave the eatery a rating of “Very Good” and praised its Greek-focused cuisine for being able to surprise with its creative approach and Spanish and North African influences.

251 Lex, headed by chef and owner Constantine Kalandranis, opened in October and changes its lineup daily, The New York Times review said.

Of particular note was its crispy lemon chicken, fresh fish and charred octopus with couscous, The New York Times story said.
