Northern Westchester Hospital Celebrates 100th Anniversary With Gala

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Northern Westchester Hospital celebrate its 100-year anniversary Saturday evening with a Centennial Gala on the NWH campus.

The hospital paid tribute to this year’s physician honoree and to its community honorees during the festivities.

Alfred Tinger, MD, who specializes in breast cancer treatment and has served as NWH’s chief of radiation oncology since 2002, was named 2016 physician honoree, with the hospital citing "his exceptional dedication to clinical excellence, his boundless compassion and integrity as a physician, and for his leadership and generosity to NWH."

Community honorees named were Vicki and Fred Feiner, MD; Babs and Charlie Johnson; and Bobbie Lounsbery-Bates. They were cited for "their volunteer leadership and vision, commitment to advancing NWH’s philosophy of patient-centered care, dedication to giving back to the community, and long-term philanthropy."
