MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Dr. Daniel Clyman of Mount Kisco died April 28 at his home after a long illness. He was 86.
A physician, Clyman was the founder of Mount Pleasant Medical Group.
Born Feb. 27, 1926, in Baltimore, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He graduated from the University of Maryland Medical School in 1952. Clyman was on staff at White Plains Hospital and was former chief of staff at St. Agnes Hospital. He enjoyed art, travel, fine wine and spending time with his family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Myrna Kessler Clyman; a daughter, Karen Robin; a son, Mark Clyman; a daughter-in-law, Millie; a brother Sidney Clyman and his wife Bernice; and a granddaughter.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester in Chappaqua.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Daniel Clyman Memorial Scholarship, Westchester County Community College, the Katonah Museum of Art or the VNA and Hospice Care Foundation of Hudson Valley.
