The DreamsWorks Studio production, set to be completed by October features a half-dozen well-known television and movie actors.

Irvington police and stagehands kept passers-by and news reporters from catching a glimpse of any stars on Thursday, however. (If anyone spotted a celebrity in town or near Route 9, please email a photo to Daily Voice.)

A fog machine was full operation, though, and cast an eerie backdrop a half-mile from Irvington's train station on Metro-North's Hudson Line.

The Hollywood movie based on Paula Hawkins' bestselling novel by the same name stars Emily Blunt as a recently divorced, alcoholic commuter who claims she witnessed a murder. No one believes her.

Station Road also was closed between Oak Street and Route 9 on Tuesday and Wednesday for filming

These other movie/television stars are in the movie: Rebecca Ferguson, Allison Janney, Haley Bennett, Edgar Ramirez, Lisa Kudrow of "Friends" fame and Justin Theroux from "The Leftovers." Let Daily Voice know if you spotted any of them this week by writing jcraig@dailyvoice.com
