CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The new book "Double Down" reveals that top aides for President Barrack Obama secretly considered replacing Joe Biden with Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton as the Vice Presidential candidate in 2012, according to The New York Times.

The book outlines focus groups that the Obama camp engaged in late in 2011 that ultimately concluded that Clinton's popularity would not provide a significant enough boost to make the change, The Times reported.
