MT. KISCO -- Con Edison has restored power to all of its Mount Kisco neighborhoods.
Areas restored by Thursday evening included sections of Byram Lake Road, Langeland Drive, East Main Street and a few outages on Lexington Avenue. Just 51 homes still are without power, according to Con Edison.
If residents still are without power, it is likely due to their individual service connection, or where the line from the street attaches to their house, Con Edison said. Residents should continue to report outages to Con Edison at 1-800-75-Con Ed. They also should notify village hall by calling (914) 241-0500 for assistance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency officially has opened a disaster recovery center at the County Center in White Plains to answer questions and assist with the registration process for those who suffered damages to their home or business. The hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362.
The village has resumed curbside leaf collection. Debris from private property must be tied and bundled for collection.
