Residents should not feed coyotes, not feed pets outside and make garbage inaccessible to coyotes and other animals, the village said.  Residents should also eliminate the availability of birdseed, which an attract coyotes, the village said.

Pets should not be allowed to run free and anyone who sees a coyote should be aggressive in their behavior, the village said.
