Questions linger in your head. Is it someone I know?

That's one of the hardest things to deal with for 22-year-old  Skyler Radcliffe Spina, whose father, Stephen Spina, was stabbed to death in his Mamaroneck apartment 10 years ago this week.

"It's a scary thought," she said. "It's something I think about daily since there was no forced entry. It's the hardest thing I have to deal with and come to terms with."

A popular mailman in Larchmont and a Little League coach, Spina was well known and well liked. So much in fact, that the local Little League organization raised $40,000 in reward money to help find his killer.

The case is still open, but cops are up against a brick wall without any new leads in the investigation of the murder, which occurred on Sept. 17, 2007.

Skyler is hoping renewed interest in her father's murder case will help find his killer.

She has moved out of the area and is currently attending school, but she said the hardest thing is "trying to figure her life out," without her father to help guide her.

"He's missed teaching me to drive, high-school graduation, and now I'm getting married soon," Skyler said. "I have a full life ahead that he physically won't be there for."

Skyler said her father was her "best friend," and a "loving, caring, tender person with a great soul."

Skyler has several tattoos dedicated to her father, including his initials and softball number to remember him every day when she looks at her wrist.

"I want people to know that they can come forward with even the littlest bit of information," she said. "You never know what could help. It might take 10 more years but this murder will be solved."

There is also the $40,000 reward if the person responsible is arrested.

Mamaroneck village police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Richard Carroll at 914-825-8541 or email racarroll@vompd.com.
