A stretch of westbound Interstate 84 reopened Saturday afternoon after being closed for approximately eight hours following an early morning rollover crash involving two tractor-trailers.

The crash occurred between the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) and Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15) in Dutchess.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., state police from East Fishkill were dispatched to westbound I-84 after the collision. A preliminary investigation revealed that a tandem tractor trailer rear-ended another tractor trailer in the westbound lanes between the two exits, state police said. Minor injuries were reported to police.
