Mount Kisco Child Care Center will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a dinner event on Thursday June 9th at the Mount Kisco Country Club. The event, called "Waves of Possibility" will honor all the teachers, both past and present, of Mount Kisco Child Care Center(MKCCC) who have helped thousands of children throughout the non-profits 40 years of service.
"We are thrilled to celebrate our 40th anniversary and recognize the outstanding individuals who have devoted so much of their time and energy to the Center," said Dottie Jordan, Executive Director. "MKCCC's dedicated teachers are the driving force behind our success and the reason we have been able to serve more than 5,000 children to date."
Mount Kisco Child Care Center is a non-sectarian childcare facility that opened its doors to the families of Mount Kisco and the surrounding areas in 1971. Since then, MKCCC has provided early-care and education to children who are between the ages of three months and five years old. They also have a program for children up to 12 years old.
"MKCCC teachers are the waves that push our children forward," Jordan said. "Their creative, nurturing approach provides each child with the confidence, inspiration, and support they need for a great start."
Mount Kisco Child Care Center has been chosen as the 2011 Not-for-Profit of the Year by the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce. The event which will begin at 7pm will include dinner, live entertainment by the Michael Nappi Band and a live auction.
Tickets are $200 each and all proceeds raised go to the Mount Kisco Child Care Center. For more information or to register, call 914-241-2135 or visit www.mkccc.org .
