MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. ‒ A state of emergency was announced for Mount Kisco Monday as Hurricane Sandy began to encroach upon the region.

The Boys and Girls Club at 351 Main St. has been set up as a Red Cross emergency shelter. Village Manager Jim Palmer advises residents to check the village website for updates.
