MOUNT KISCO, N.Y.-- The Mount Kisco Library will be hosting its weekly senior benefits information center on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The weekly event, which has been held at the library for several years, allows seniors to have one-on-one counseling sessions covering topics including Medicare, health and prescription plans, food stamps, home repairs and tax repairs.
Seniors are advised to bring a list of medications, dosages and frequencies. The program is free and no appointments are necessary.
Mary Ayers, the reference services department head, said the program, run by the Westchester Library System, allows seniors to find government programs to assist them.
For information call Ayers at 914-864-0038.
