Mount Kisco Looks To Ease Development Approval Process

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Looking to make it easier and faster to gain approval for development in Mount Kisco, an 11-member task force recently presented a list of suggestions during a joint meeting of the village and planning boards, according to The Examiner News.

Recommendations ranged from updating the village's Master Plan to reducing the number of planning board members from seven to five members and allowing building inspectors to decide if small home improvement projects need to move on to the planning board, said The Examiner News.

In addition, the task force suggested the village should digitize building department and tax assessment records, added The Examiner News.
