MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Daily Voice is running a new segment called DVLovers, where we take a look at local residents in relationships, whether they are married or dating.
The first profile involves Mount Kisco Mayor Michael Cindrich and his wife, Linda. Married for nearly four decades, they have volunteered for an array of local groups.
Michael Cindrich has served as mayor for 12 years, while Linda Cindrich is on the village's Recreation Commission. The mayor, who served in the military when he was younger, is also a member of the local American Legion, while Linda Cindrich is a member of its auxiliary.
Prior to becoming mayor, Michael Cindrich served as a village trustee, as a member of the zoning board of appeal and as a little coach, to name a few examples. Linda Cindrich's other volunteer experience includes having been involved with parent organizations when her children were going through the Bedford Central School District.
