Mount Kisco Prohibits Street Parking Thursday Because Of Snow Advisory

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The town/village of Mount Kisco has prohibited street and roadway parking beginning midnight Thursday until 6 a.m., because of the expected inclement weather and snow advisory.

The following rules are also in effect:

  • No person shall throw or deposit snow upon any plowed portion of any street or roadway. Homeowners are responsible for the actions of private contractors in their employ. This regulation shall not be inconsistent with Section 1219 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. 
  • Free parking is available in all municipal parking lots during the snow alert advisory event Municipal Parking Lot Locations: South Moger Avenue Lot, North Moger Avenue Lot (near Annie Sez), Blackeby Parking Lot (off of Green Street), Maple Avenue Parking Lot, Dakin Avenue Parking Lot, Village Centre Lot (Shoppers Park), East Hyatt Parking Lot (corner of Main and E. Hyatt), Mount Kisco Senior Center (Behind Mount Kisco Housing Authority), Leonard Park near the basketball courts, Fox Senior Center located at 198 Carpenter Ave. 

All vehicles must be removed from all lots by 6 a.m., on Thursday, to facilitate the safe snow removal of snow from these parking areas. 

The declaration will remain in effect unless revoked.
