MOUNT KISCO, N.Y.-- Mount Kisco residents should avoid parking on any public street or roadway during Winter Storm Nemo so plows can get through, village officials advised Friday.

Violators may be ticketed and/or towed from 12:01 a.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. on Saturday, officials said. Free parking is available in all municipal lots during the snow emergency:

        Blackeby Lot
        Dakin Lot
        E. Hyatt Lot
        Maple Avenue Lot
        North Moger Lot
        South Moger Lot
        Village Center Lot

Additional free parking is also available at Leonard Park near the basketball courts and at the Fox Senior Center, 198 Carpenter Ave.

All cars must be removed from all lots by noon on Saturday to facilitate safe snow removal from these parking areas, officials said.

For more information about inclement weather parking prohibitions, residents can call the Mount Kisco snow emergency hotline at 914-241-SNOW or visit the village website.
