MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Northern Westchester Hospital is the first and only hospital in New York State to receive the highest five-star rating for patient satisfaction and is one of only 251 hospitals in the United States to deliver this level of patient satisfaction.
Northern Westchester Hospital earned the five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, who introduced its new five-star “Patient Experience” rating system as part of its HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey of hospital patient treatment experience.
This national survey asks patients about their experiences during a recent hospital stay. Northern Westchester Hospital's most current survey results from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 can be reviewed online here.
