Parking Fine Hikes Approved For Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Mount Kisco's Village Board of Trustees is cracking down on parking violations after voting unanimously to raise fines on several parking categories, according to Patch.com.

The largest increases will come from violations like parking in a fire zone, which will go up from $50 to $75 and improper use of handicapped parking, which shot up from $75 to $125, Patch.com reported. 

Most violations were raised between $5 and $25. Fines for meter parking violations were kept at $10, Patch.com reported.
