Police Charge Mount Kisco Bank Robbery Suspect

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- A Bronx man is in custody and is being charged with the New Year’s Eve robbery of Mount Kisco's TD Bank, according to a LoHud.com report.

Police stopped the suspected getaway car in Elmsford soon after the theft and reportedly found $6,000 as well as 10 grams of cocaine, the article said.

Eddy Cruz, 38, is charged with third-degree robbery, third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to the report. He has been arraigned and is currently in the Westchester County Jail.
