Reactions In Mount Kisco: NFL Scandals Won't Impact Ratings

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Scandals involving NFL players such as Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson have been covered extensively in the news, but some folks locally doubt that the publicity will lead to television ratings being impacted.

Reactions at Mount Kisco Sports were that the NFL scandals will not affect ratings.

"No" was the reaction from Robert Bernstein, who owns Mount Kisco Spots and lives in North Salem, adding it is a shame that it won't. Bernstein also noted the publicity that the NFL is receiving as a result.

Daniel Malone, who lives in Tarrytown and works at Mount Kisco Sports, said he does not see a huge drop in ratings, predicting that people will keep watching.

On Friday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell discussed new measures to deal with the abuse issues, USA Today reported.
