Skinny Buddha Makes Healthy Living Easy

MOUNT KISCO, NY-- Mount Kisco residents will soon be invited to party like a Skinny Buddha! Skinny Buddha is a new fitness and organic nutrition center based in Mount Kisco.

On Saturday, October 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., Mount Kisco residents are welcome to join Owners Shaka "THE K.I.N.G." Davidson and Elyce Jacobson for free Ayurvedic juice cleanse cocktails and live music provided by acclaimed violinist DJ Miss Deezy.

“We had a soft opening and have been busy ever since,” said Davidson. “The grand opening will serve as our introduction to the area, everything has been going well, so now we're ready to put it on a bigger scale.”

Juice cleansers adorn a wall display to the left of the front desk. These ayurvedic juice cleanses will be available to sample during the grand opening. The cleanses consist of a combination of organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, and a vegan source of protein. To go along with their cleanses, Skinny Buddha has also developed a work out plan to aid in the removal of toxins.

Owner Elyce Jacobson understands the issues people face when trying to lose weight or get in shape. She once trained with Shaka, which sparked the creation and opening of Skinny Buddha.

“When I met Shaka, I was struggling to lose weight after having three kids. He developed a program and I committed to it, and it was life altering,” said Jacobson. “Then we started talking about it and came to the agreement that we would keep journals of everything, I made menus and recipes and at the end, we knew this was something we needed to share with others.”

Skinny Buddha will offer several programs depending on what your goal is and what your fitness level is. They'll fit you with customed packages for weight loss, detoxification, pre-natal, yoga, and body massage.
