The eatery, called The Turk, will open at the intersection of South Moger Avenue and the exit road from the train-station parking lot. The site was formerly occupied by BGR, a burger restaurant that closed last year.

A building permit issued by the village government, dated March 26, allows for interior work including the building of two walls and wood flooring, along with updates to a pair of bathrooms.

Reached for comment on Tuesday, Simon Maden, a co-owner of the new venture, told Daily Voice that no opening date has been set.
