Westchester's Michael Bloomberg Says Government Won't Act On Climate Change

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Former mayor and North Salem resident Michael Bloomberg stated that climate change progress will be made by businesses, consumers and mayors with little to no help from state or federal government on Monday during a conference, reports Capital New York.

Bloomberg continued to say during a conference at the Council on Foreign Relations in Manhattan that elected officials don’t have any views or beliefs regarding climate change, and are driven only by their desire for re-election, according to the report.
