MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A scavenger hunt and opening day at the village pool are two events happening in Mount Kisco this Memorial Day weekend.

Friday, May 25

Homework help: 3 to 5 p.m. The library is hosting free tutoring for students in grades four through eight. Stop by the children's room for more information. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Saturday, May 26

Mount Kisco Small Biz Scavenger Hunt: 9 a.m. Join the first ever Mount Kisco Scavenger Hunt in honor of Small Business Week and win prizes from Cafe of Love, Pour Cafe & Wine Bar, Bellizzi, Frannie's Goodie Shop, New York Dolls, Tiger Lily Boutique, Little Kabab Station and Little Spice Bazaar. Begin at Village Hall, 104 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Mount Kisco Farmers' Market: 9 a.m. This weekly farmers market has all sorts of fresh and organic gourmet goodies for foodies to buy. Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, 351 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.

Leonard Park Memorial Pool Opening Day: Noon to 7 p.m. Mount Kisco's Leonard Park Memorial Pool will open for the season this weekend. Residents who need a pool pass must go to the recreation office at village hall, 104 E. Main St. A current utility bill or piece of mail with a name and address is required to buy a pass. Leonard Park, South Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.

Monday, May 28

Village offices are closed today in observance of Memorial Day. All recyclables will be collected Tuesday.

Schools are also closed.
