Born in Dumbarton, Scotland, Campbell completed trade school, an apprenticeship and British military service, before marrying and coming to the United States in 1960.
He was a painting and decorating contractor and loved spending time and traveling with his family and friends.
Through his civic service and friendship, he helped many in his community.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter, Janine (Paul) Callahan of Stamford, Conn.; son, Stewart (Janice) Campbell of Stamford, Conn.; and grandchildren, Colin, Spencer and Adelaide.
Visiting hours are 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, at Mount Kisco Presbyterian Church, 605 Millwood Road, Mount Kisco.
